I’m always scared of the future. Probably because I think too much. Isnt it scary? The uncertainty that things can go totally wrong and you have no idea if you can face it or not?
But, It wasnt really uncertain after all. Because Allah clearly state that “And We will surely test you with something of fear and hunger and a loss of wealth and lives and fruits, but give good tidings to the patient,” [2:155]. Besides that “Allah does not charge a soul except [with that within] its capacity.” [2:286].
I think I’m afraid because I’m a perfectionist. I have a high expectation. I dream big. And I think beyond what most of people on my age are thinking. While others are still figuring out what they want to do, or worrying about the love of their life, I’m busy planning. Planning for my future. My mind is constantly thinking the next move. Things that I should. What I wanna do. And how. Assessing every single possibilities.
Manusia hanya mampu merancang, Allah yang menentukan segala-galanya. Tapi, Allah juga tidak akan mengubah nasib seseorang, melainkan seseorang itu mengubah diri mereka. Susahnya hidup!
But that’s life. Mana ada benda yang senang dalam hidup ni kan? I clearly know better about this. I guess I need to buck up and stop over-worrying about the future. Aaa. Alright!
Andddd. Cant wait for this weekend to come over. This sunday, a decision must be made. Either to remain as strangers. Or to be a team. Sharing the same dreams and visions. May Allah ease our way.
